About Us
Mayureswar Ambedkar Smriti Sangha (MASS) is under the Society Registration Act 1961 &WEST BENGAL ACT XXVI OF 1961 in Birbhum District, West Bengal, India. It is one of the leading voluntary organizations of the district working for the welfare and rehabilitation of a disadvantaged group of society especially for the poor people since 1995.
Mayureswar Ambedkar Smriti Sangha is a professional volunteer team working within three major operations: problem identification, planning, and solution. Supporting the exercise field and implementation is also our part of work. Our executive body consists of the Chairperson, Secretary, and other members of the organization.
Mayureswar Ambedkar Smriti Sangha is registered with the Registrar of Societies under WEST BENGAL ACT XXVI OF 1961 and the type of NGO is Registered Societies (Non-Government) and the Registration Number is S/81177 OF 1995-96. The city and state of registration are Mayureswar and West Bengal. We are also registered under section 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 bearing Registration No.— 18/17/CIT/BWN/06-07/3149 dated 13/02/2007. Also Registered under section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961 bearing Registration No.— 18/13/CIT/BWN/09-10/1045 dated 10/07/2009. We are also registered under FCRA and our FCRA number is II/21022/74(0223)2010-FCRA-II. Our Unique Id of VO/NGO is WB/2017/0170648. The date of registration is 12/09/1995.
On our way towards social welfare, we always express our heartiest gratitude to our well-wishers, Advisory Committee, local people along with the Volunteer members who have extended their hands for co-operation to achieve our success for the welfare of helpless people of the Society. Their valuable guidance has always helped us to overcome the various barriers and to achieve success.
Mission
We are dedicated to designing and implementing integrated programs for wide-scale replication. We do this by providing multiple need-based interventions of such awareness, literacy to women and children, health care, nutrition, skill development, income generation, sanitation, shelter, consumer awareness, prevention of violence on largest groups as well as other activities of target groups and IT-related programs. We believe in developing and working with networks at the community, national and international levels.

Vision
Our vision centers around women empowerment and creation of an egalitarian society free from exploitation, poverty alleviation by offering financial assistance to enlarge the scope of self-employment. It intends to generate an environment so that everybody in this society can live with broad humanity and prosperity. Its objective is to improve the standard of health and education in interior villages including slum areas where the population is dominated by poor and underprivileged people.
